NARS was created to provide training and certification programs to the broadest possible industry audience. The body of railroad knowledge we teach is generally constant across different operating companies. However, there are some situations that require customized training to meet specific operating environments.

Our extensive capabilities can serve as the starting point for developing a training program that meets your specific needs. Most importantly, these services don't require the development of training faculty or a facility within your organization, making skills creation or enhancement that much more cost effective.

We offer consultation services to Class-I and short line railroads, as well as to large industries that have significant rail operations within their businesses. We work with key personnel in your organization to assess current training needs and methods and then recommend ways of addressing identified training challenges or opportunities. Training can be customized to cover company-specific policies and procedures.
